The Winter Park Diamond Dawgs’ season opener will be played against the Sanford River Rats Friday, June 5, at 7 p.m.

The game will be played at Rollins College Alfond Stadium [Gmap], in Winter Park. The summer season will have the Dawgs hosting 22 home games. Tickets are $5. Seniors and children under six years of age are just $3.
Nightly game themes this season will include College Alumni Fan Night, Guns & Hoses, Green/Earth Night, Military Night and more.

Entering its 12th season, the FCSL is a wood-bat collegiate baseball league showcasing many of the top-ranked college players in the United States. It is one of only nine leagues sponsored by Major League Baseball® and has also been named as one of the top summer leagues in the country by Baseball America®. In addition to the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs, the FCSL is comprised of the Altamonte Springs Boom, Deland Suns, Leesburg Lightning, Sanford River Rats and Winter Garden Squeeze.
