This is the first in a series of story shares with Always Nothing (Website), a local platform for emerging creative culture in Orlando, offering a different perspective through visual and written media.
The Internet is Where Everyone is Wrong was a night brought together by Ark [Calkins] that was both surreal and satirical. The type of night that left participants feeling closer than ever to the intangible Internet. In a red room, cloaked figures chanted “ROFL LOL” while reading scripture off of their phones. Which included a visceral performance where online statuses were literally being chewed up and spit out. Between rituals, patrons stood serenaded by the dreamy tunes of Ark, Michael Parallax, and Koleżanka.
