Galactic G Skateshop (Facebook) has expanded into the former Oldies but Goodies (Facebook) home of gravely-voiced, vintage-mess-queen Barb Solomon.
Solomon closed her shop directly after the Orlando Theater Fringe Festival this spring in order to sell her wares at vintage shows across the country.
Solomon was such a recognizable figure in Ivanhoe Village that a play was written about her called “The Mayor of Orange Avenue.”
The Skateshop will be moving out of the space in the back of the shop to allow their neighbor, the Bodhi Tree (Facebook), to expand as well.
