I want to taste the breeze of every great city.  “Admit It”- Say Anything

Say Anything will taste the breeze of Orlando this Tuesday night, the seventh stop on the band’s summer tour. The Hebrews tour, taking place all throughout June, comes to the Orlando House of Blues roughly a year after the band released their sixth album, of the same name. Hebrews, easily the most experimental of Say Anything’s albums, was recorded entirely without guitars. For the first time Say Anything will be touring with a string quartet after having rewritten many of their songs to include violin, viola, and cello parts.

Now in the fifteenth year of their celebrated career, Say Anything has become somewhat of a symbol of the alt-rock/pop-punk genres. Max Bemis is the sole “official
” member (vocals/guitar) with a touring lineup of Parker Case, Kenny Bridges, Garron DuPree, Reed Murray and the afformentioned string quartet. Characterized by wit, the Say Anything’s intricate and playful lyrics are reminiscent of the finest kind of poetry – the kind you can read over and over again, each time picking up on something new.

Philadelphia’s Modern Baseball will be touring alongside Say Anything for the entirety of the tour, along with Cymbals Eat Guitars, and Hard Girls.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
