Just in time for the Fourth of July weekend, the City of Orlando, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Orlando, have unveiled a new swan boat that is wheelchair accessible.

The back-loading boat was made possible with a generous donation of $7,000 from the Rotary Club of Orlando. Wheelchair swan boats are not often made available to the public, and Commissioner Patty Sheehan told Bungalower that this may be the first ADA accessible boat of it’s kind, at a public park.

There is a total of eight swan-shaped paddle boats that are available for rent, with the Fourth of July often being the busiest day of the year, with an average of 150 rentals.
