While researching our latest Did You Know-town, at the Orange County Regional History Center (Website), Bungalower stumbled upon something really intersting – one of the original plans for Loch Haven Park.

The plan would have located the Loch Haven Cultural Park at the center of Princeton Avenue, in a sort of traffic island-roundabout amalgam, with encircling parking spaces as a sort of buffer from the passing traffic.

The park would have hosted what looks like an outdoor amphitheater/concert hall with radial walking paths connecting to the parking lots.

We’re still looking into why the design wasn’t put into action.
