A custom-made VIP booth nods to the Haunted Mansion.

Joysticks Arcade Lounge and Retro Bar (Facebook) will be opening at it’s new home on the second floor of 69 E. Pine St., across from the Gallery at Avalon Island [Gmap].

We wrote about the bar back in early May when the owners were trying to raise some money on Kickstarter to fund their project. Although their fundraising campaign failed, the owners are still pressing on with their downtown retro arcade venue.

Co-owner, Jeffrey Stelter, had a 15-year career creating props and scenery for the theme parks, as evidenced by the Facebook photos posted below.
