Last Friday, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and Commissioner Robert Stuart debuted the completed Lake Ivanhoe Paddleboard Dock at Gaston Edwards Park, in the Ivanhoe Village Main Street District [GMap].
The new aluminum dock is designed to be used with non-motorized crafts like paddleboards, canoes, and kayaks. It was built on the site of a former wooden observation dock that burned down last summer. More on that, HERE.
The project also happens to be some low hanging fruit for Project DTO which calls for more activities to be made available outdoors.
