The Lucky Lure (Facebook) is growing too big for its metal-shed-britches. The former shed-turned-bar was built on a tiny spur of greenspace between the train tracks and Orange Avenue, and has proved to be popular enough that the owner, Michael Blaise, is building out into the neighboring buildings.

Construction seems to be coming along nicely with the addition of an extended patio to the south of the original bar. The interior is still under renovation.

Bar staff was reluctant to disclose an opening date, and emphasized that they’re just concentrating on doing a good job and taking their time.

An announcement saying “FOOD COMING SOON” has been added to their About section on Facebook.
