The City Commissioners, Mayor Dyer, and Police Chief John Mina have partnered with the Valencia College Peace and Justice Institute to work with community members in a new series of interactive workshops focused on engaging citizens with City processes.
The Orlando Speaks workshop is meant to strengthen relationships between police officers and the public, to enhance the City’s community policing initiative.
The first workshop will be Tuesday, August 25 at 6:15 p.m. at the Orlando Citrus Bowl, East Indoor Club, at 1610 Church Street [GMap].
