An awareness demonstration will be held in downtown Orlando on Labor Day from 9-11 a.m.
Participants will be marching in pairs from City Hall to the Orlando Sentinel, along Orange Avenue. One person in each pair of marchers will be blindfolded, “representing Orlando’s blindness to the problems of poverty and the working poor.”
Marchers are asked to meet near Wall Street Cantina to prepare. Water and signs will be provided along with materials for participants to create their own messages
