Zoes Kitchen eyes up Downtown South

Counter-service chain, Zoes Kitchen (Website) may be opening a location in Downtown South.

The restaurant chain specializes in healthy, light Mediterranean food. The fast-casual menu features cuisines from most of the 21 countries that are based on the Mediterranean, like Italy, Spain, and France (not just Greece – as the company’s website points out).

According to information released at a recent Downtown South Neighborhood Improvement District Advisory Council meeting, Zoe’s is looking to develop an outparcel next to Walmart and Boston Market.
