The Atlanta-based developers, Pollack Shores Real Estate Group (Website), have won round one in their ongoing struggle against College Park residents to build their Princeton at College Park apartment complex.

A group of neighbors under the banner Rethink the Princeton filed a petition to reverse the decision made by the City of Orlando to approve the project back in June.

However a judge recently ruled against the petition and declaring that the developers had adhered to the growth plan that had been outlined in the Edgewater Vision Plan, created by the City in collaboration with local residents. There is still another case filed against the project that will be decided on in March of next year.

We have covered this project since the beginning, including when it was scaled back due to feedback from concerned College Park residents, but here is Our Take on it from last September.

The project is planned to be built on a spur of land that is bordered by Smith Street, Princeton Street, and Edgewater Drive [GMap].

  1. Gail Spratley this was from the original plans that were submitted in May but it has been scaled down since then. This will just give you an idea of where they are planning to build.

  2. Trying to figure out what “spur of land” is bordered by Princeton, Smith and Edgewater, would this location be where shops and restaurants are currently located?
