East End Market’s produce vendor, Local Roots (Facebook | Website) has begun partnering Hinckley’s Fancy Meats (Facebook | Website), a local artisan butcher.
Local Roots launched the partnership by purchasing a hog from Pasture Prime Family Farm (Facebook) earlier this week. Chef Matt Hinckley, the owner of Fancy Meats, has butchered the hog and produced handcrafted sausages, cuts of ham, bacon, and more.
Cuts available include:
- Old School Italian Sausage
- Smoked Rabbit Andouille
- Tasso Ham
- Breakfast Sausage
- Headcheese
- Irish Bangers
- Assorted Fresh Cuts
- Hinckley’s Fancy Bacon
- Jamaican Bacon
Both Fancy Meats and Local Roots are also teaming up to bring the Local Roots Food Hub & Artisan Butcher Shop to Lake Helen. Watch a video about that project, HERE.

I had the breakfast sausage this weekend and it was fantastic! I made a breakfast sandwich using that and a croissant from Olde Hearth.
