This Wednesday, Harbor House of Central Florida (Website) is breaking ground on their new emergency shelter. The shelter will provide more beds and specialized areas for those with newborns and special needs.

The new temporary emergency shelter is slated to open on the Harbor House campus in early Fall of 2016.

A ceremonial groundbreaking using purple sand (purple representing domestic violence) will be this Wednesday, October 14 at 11 a.m. at Buell Duncan Park [GMap].
