Last month we wrote about the City of Orlando’s impending Digital City Hall program that would be going live sometime before the end of the year, , in their ongoing mission to streamline their permitting process. . The City took their first step in the program by launching their  Small Business Digital Permitting (Website).
The new Digital Permitting site is meant to make complex projects, like starting a new business, easier to understand and navigate, via a one-stop website. The site will allow business owners attempting to open or expand a business to check zoning, identify permit requirements, estimate the costs and fees associated with their project and learn about any possible incentives.
The new site will also ensure prospective business owners receive personalized contact from City Staff early in the process.
The next steps in the launch of the Digital City Hall program will be to add the ability to upload plans online and to create a space where people can file, review, and update any and all permits online.

  1. Buddy looks confused. Surely Orlando still isn’t ranked in the top 10 cities for violent crime still?
