One of our readers, Bekka McCollum contacted us about a notice that was posted on the doors of downtown bar Whiskey Dicks [GMap] saying, “Whiskey Dicks has an eviction notice on it.”
Management has yet to return our calls, but according to this post by local blog Whats2Hot, that’s not surprising.
According to the post by Lee Ann Huntoon, Whiskey Dicks has “poured their last drink” and that the owner confirmed the closure by texting the employees to let them know they no longer worked there.
Huntoon also mentions existing tax liens being present but after a quick search of liens in the City of Orlando database, we saw a $0 payoff amount listed for that address, HERE. But that doesn’t rule out something via the State or County.
We couldn’t confirm the eviction rumor, but Whiskey Dicks certainly is closed for business.

Finally, I loathed that place at night.
I’m pretty sure the original owners are taking it back over and re-opening. They just have to clean up the mess that resulted in the closing. It’s a lot of red tape and lawyers….
