Today is election day in the City of Orlando. Snapchat is working with the City to document and share people’s election moments and there are also a number of events happening around Orlando offering freebies to voters.
There are different polling locations depending on where you live in the City. You can find your specific precinct HERE on the Orange County Supervisor of Elections website. Simply click on “Find Your Precinct” input your address in the given spaces.
Polling locations are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The City of Orlando is participating in an effort by Snapchat called Snapchat’s Live Story. The popular app will be covering Election Day via social media posts throughout the day. Snapchat will be collecting Orlando-centric election posts through a special overlay and filter and sharing it with the app’s 100 million users.
Also, there are a number of places that are giving out free drinks or food if you are displaying your “I Voted” sticker when you enter. Creative agency, Prismatic (Website), is hosting a party at Kasa, which we wrote about HERE last week, and the North Quarter Tavern is giving out a free glass of wine or bottled beer.
If you visit the Dr. Phillips Center Box Office between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. you can get a free magnet from the Dr. Phillips Center, Orlando City, or Orlando Pride.
