In the midst of three of the hottest November days in Central Florida history, Winter Park has announced that its annual holiday ice skating rink will return at the end of the month.

This year’s “Winter in the Park” holiday rink will run from Friday, November 20 to Sunday, January 10 and will be located in Central Park’s West Meadow [GMap]. The rink will be open 3-9 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 3-10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, and noon-8 p.m. Sunday.

The cost is $12 per skater, and the rink is available for rentals and private parties.

  1. Hey Stephen, they’re actually not doing it any more. According to John Rife (the founder/host) it was really set up to be a springboard for East End Market and now that it’s open they have moved on from that concept.

  2. Anyone know if the Winter Park Harvest Festival is still going on? They haven’t updated Facebook since last year. This was held right next to the ice rink.
