The next incarnation of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office 2016 Spring Civilian Police Academy will begin on on February 23, 2016, and runs through May 24, 2016. 
 The class is held every Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Central Operations Complex, located at 2500 West Colonial Drive, [GMap].

“Presentations will be given on the following topics: Forensics, Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Narcotics, and Special Operations. In addition to this, participants will have a chance to tour the Communications Center and see how 911 calls are received and dispatched, take a tour of our Aviation Unit, and journey to the stables where our horses are lodged.

To enroll, simply log in to OCSO.com and fill out the application for the Civilian Police Academy, Spring 2016 Class. Registration is free and open to all residents of Orange County, Florida. The deadline to sign up is January 26, 2016. Hurry as space is limited and the classes fill up quickly.”
