We recently announced the sudden closure of Doc’s Streetside Grille on Monday, December 28 HERE. The restaurant occupied the bottom floor of a multi-story building that housed offices on the other floors. The property is owned by a Dr. Tom Winters (Website) and partners. Winters runs his medical practice out of an adjoined second building which will remain during and after renovations of the Doc’s building.

The working name of the 54-room hotel is the Delaney Hotel and according to their website the hotel rooms will range from suite to king, and a double queen.

The restaurant name has not been released at this time but according to Greg Allowe, the Executive Vice President of the development, it will have a “friendly fair” theme featuring craft beers and everyone’s favorite dishes from around the globe. The mid-scale casual restaurant will offer banquet and catering services.

We will post the hotel plans once we have them.

The projected completion date for the project is in 12-14 months.

  1. It appears we need only miss Doc’s for a short time. Congrats to Dr. Winters.  This project has been a long time coming.
