Crealdé School of Art (Website) is hosting their Fifth Annual A Night of Fire on Saturday, January 16 from 5-8 p.m at their Winter Park campus [GMap].
For the fifth year in a row, Crealdé will be starting the new year with a campus-wide open house. The night will focus on showcasing the more combustible talents of the school’s faculty with demonstrations and activities like the following:
- Light painting photography over Lake Sterling
- Torch cutting and welding demos
- Raku firing and kiln firing
- Glass-making demos
- Storytelling around the fire
- Hands-on art activities for all ages
- Painting and printmaking demos
- Music by the Cats in the House Blues Band with Maurice Fields
- Galleries open for viewing
- Grilled foods by Millers Hardware
The event is free to all and attendees will be able to register for classes and workshops.
