FLORIDA MAN from Sean Dunne on Vimeo.

Directed by New Yorker Sean Dunne (who lived in Florida through High School and College), Florida Man is a guerrilla-style documentary that takes a simple look at the everyday Floridian. Warning: it can be hard to watch.

Florida Man (Website) runs at 50 minutes long and is free to watch on Vimeo. A lot of the locations are in Downtown Orlando and Mills 50, and some of the people interviewed should be recognizable to Bungalower readers, especially at the 1:35 mark.

Other locations include Largo, Inverness, Ocala, Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral and Gainesville.

Dunne went in search of the people who are often featured in the #floridaman hash tag and news headlines, and this film is a result of what he calls a “10-day blur of a road trip” during an interview with fastcocreate.com.
