UPDATE – Menus for Verde Cantina have been added below.
Both Verde Cantina (Website) and Black Rooster Taqueria (Website) will be opening this week.
Farm-to-Table Black Rooster held their media preview this past Friday night to a packed house. Bungalower staff was in attendance, as some of you may already know if you follow our Instagram, @orlandobungalower. They will soft open to the public this Tuesday, February 9 with an official opening on Wednesday, February 10.
We’ve been writing about Black Rooster Taqueria [GMap] since last August, when we announced their opening HERE.
The second opening is for Verde Cantina, which is moving into the Thornton Park Tijuana Flats space [GMap]. Verde will be specializing in “Mexican Soul Food,” which the new owners translate as authentic Mexican comfort food. More on the Cafe’s opening HERE. We will post their menus as soon as they are available. Menus have been posted below.
They will be opening for lunch and dinner this Thursday, February 11.
The art displayed on the walls is by local artist Kellie Walsh, who also happens to be the pastry chef at nearby Soco Restaurant.
