The City of Winter Park has received the 2016 Urban Land Institute Trendsetter Award in recognition for its design and construction of the Cady Way Cycle Track. The cycle track combines two bike lanes on one side of the street, separating them from traffic with a 2-foot buffer area and flexible vertical markers.
The annual Trendsetter Award recognizes a project for forward-thinking ideas and practices that represent the industry’s next big trend.
