The 21-unit park Lake Townhome we wrote about back in January has been given a new look, just in time for the upcoming Appearance Review Board meeting on the 17th.

From what we can see in the above images, the new design has whitewashed the exterior, rounded the entryways, changed the patio sunshade designs, and enlarged some of the windows.

The proposed three-story development could be erected on the corner of Highland and Park Lake [GMap] if approved by the City.

  1. Definitely the original looks more interesting. The break in the building mass and change of textures and colors are a plus. The design just needed it key improvements and it would it be great. There was no need of a total re-design even less a change in the style of the building.

  2. Original looks more interesting. The top floor “awning” extensions are useful, but the new exterior is rather bland.
