The former Kappo-space-turned-Japanese-convenience-store in East End Market is scheduled to open on March 26.

Kappo (Facebook | Website) closed in December and the owners of the popular-yet-tiny sushi restaurant have been hard at work ever since, sourcing new goods for their Konbini concept, more on that HERE.

In celebration of the opening, the shop will be serving $5 udon noodle bowls in front of the market from 2-5 p.m., in addition to onigiri, chirashi, rare cooking ingredients, and other Japanese snacks that will now be available in the store.

The Kappo team is still working on reopening their sushi restaurant concept in a new location.
