Design by KZF Design Studio via the City of Orlando

A six foot vinyl mesh-covered fence is all that separates a City Fleet Services lot from the surrounding Holden heights neighborhood.

The City will be replacing the existing fence with a new pre-cast panel barrier that adds another five feet, with added landscaping, to better hide the vehicles in the lot from the street. Most vehicles in the lot are over six feet in height and easily seen behind the current fence. According to the application for variance, the City had originally requested that the wall be 16 feet tall, but reduced it to 11.

The additional five feet will require a variance from the City in order to move forward. The City expects to have the wall installed by August of this year.

The above design was created by KZF Design Studio (Website).
