“Hey! Just wondering if you have any intel onto the restrooms at Gaston Edwards Park at Lake Ivanhoe. It appears they closed when Gargis closed which is a shame to all patrons to the park. I wonder if we can do anything about this collectively” – Kaley Dunlap

As revealed in an earlier post by us HERE, Gargi’s Lakeside Italian Restaurant was responsible for the original build-out of the building and the public bathrooms at the rear that service the park.

The power and water for the entire building were recently shut off, as the building is now under the ownership of On Group International Corporation, more on that HERE. The City is working with the new tenants to have the power and water turned back on and to have the public restrooms open during the construction of the new restaurant.

In the meantime, the City has installed a temporary, handicapped accessible port-a-potty in the parking lot north of the building for park users, which is cleaned daily.
