A request was made on March 21 to amend the future land use designation of the current Clean the World site in Downtown Orlando from OFFICE-MED (Office Medium Intensity) to Urban Activity Center with the Traditional City and Parramore Heritage Overlays to AC-2/T/PH.
Urban Activity Centers have a permitted Density of 30 to 100 DU/Acre.
According to City Hall, this is just “to make the zoning and future land use consistent with the Clean The World industrial use. We are not aware of any redevelopment plans. If there are any, they would need to go through a Master Plan process.”
The 0.91 acre site is located on the corner of North Hughey Avenue and West Robinson Street [GMap].
