The LYNX Board of Directors has voted to negotiate a contract with Edward L. Johnson to be their new chief executive officer .
Johnson, is currently the CAO of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority and has more than 20 years experience in the transportation industry.
Johnson will replace John M. Lewis Jr. who left LYNX to head the Charlotte Area Transit System in September 2015. We wrote about that HERE. General Manager Susan Black has been serving as the interim director of LYNX in the meantime.
