As of 11 a.m. Monday, April 25, King Bao is now open.
The new baoery took over the former home of Raphsodic Bakery [GMap] back in January and they had their soft opening this past Friday.
We managed to get in and sample their new menu before they inevitably sold out, a few hours before closing time. See a photo of their menu below. We ordered the Mr. Potato Head (sweet potato croquette, sour cream roasted corn, relish sesame), the Kickin’ Chicken (kimchi fried chicken, cucumber sriracha aioli, and scallions), and the truffle tots (tater tots with truffle oil, truffle salt, and chives).
You can get two baos and a drink for $7.
Their hours will be 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
