The City of Winter Park has negotiated an agreement with the Orange County Public School Board. The agreement allows the City to implement improvements to the facility, including a running track and athletic field.

Facility costs will be paid, in part, by rental fees paid by tenants like OCPS and Rollins College.

The City has been leasing the field to the School Board for $1 a year, exclusively for Winter Park High School. The new agreement will see OCPS paying up to $80,000 a year for the field and allow for other groups to access the facilities.
