EDITOR’S NOTE: This post originally stated that the design was meant for Central Park, but that was incorrect. The changes have been made and we’re sorry for any confusion.

According to online planning forums, the designer of the Winter Park’s rose garden in Central Park wants to replace it with a community garden  build a new community garden downtown.

The idea would be to use the new “Hannibal Market Garden” as a trail head for a pedestrian trail alongside the Sunrail tracks on Blake Yard, just south of the chapel.

This design has not been officially submitted to the City of Winter Park and was not commissioned by anyone in City Hall.

What do you think?
