Since Ponce came ashore in the Sunshine State in 1513, people have been coming to Florida in search of rejuvenation and refreshment. Join the History Center in your best/worst tourist gear and salute the golden age of Florida roadside attractions while exploring the Finding the Fountain of Youth exhibit, which looks at how Ponce de Leon’s quest shaped the State’s image as a land of fantasy.
The party starts at 6 p.m. sharp and evening entertainment includes live music by guitarist Jeff Scott, Florida-themed trivia with Trivia Nick, costume contests, free touristy snacks and a cash bar, shuffleboard, scavenger hunts, and more.
