Art in Odd Places (AiOP) is ramping up for their November street art festival downtown and is now accepting submissions for a broad range of installations. Artistic disciplines accepted include: visual art, performance, time-based media, virtual/gaming work, online-IRL hybrids, and more. Projects that explore a location’s history and actively engage the public are encouraged. The theme for this year’s festival is Play.

The second annual public art and performance festival will take place from November 11-13 along Central Boulevard, from Osceola to Magnolia, and down Magnolia Avenue to Pine Street. Click HERE for a photo gallery of possible installation sites.

This year’s organizers include:

  • Ed Woodham, AiOP Founder and Director
  • Barbara Hartley, Executive Director of Downtown Arts District
  • Genevieve Bernard, Curator
  • Vincent Kral, Curator
