OUC is developing a new Residential Solar Aggregation Program to make it easier for homeowners to install their own solar energy systems on their properties. Solar Aggregation involves the installation of multiple Solar Photovoltaic systems in a certain area.
The benefit to this program is for the groups of homeowners to receive buy in bulk and get lower prices, allowing OUC to offer a more affordable pricing structure to customers. The rates and costs are currently under development. The turnkey program will include a solar site study, purchase and installation of the solar PV system, and an optional maintenance package.
OUC is asking homeowners to secure their spot on the waiting list now, and they will call later this year to confirm interest, start the eligibility process, and collect the application fee.
