Thanks to a Mayor’s Matching Grant, Lake Eola Heights will be building its own community garden. The new garden plots will be located at 406 E. Amelia Street, behind Broadway United Methodist Church [GMap].

36 plots will be available for $30 a year, but volunteers are also needed for regular upkeep. There will be multiple fence-raising and plot building work days, currently scheduled for July 30, August 6, and August 13.

A public meeting is planned to discuss the garden and how to get involved. For more information on that, click HERE.
