A developer, Mictra Development, LLC,  is asking the MPB to consider changing the designation of a lot in Park Lake Highland from Downtown Activity Center to Residential High Intensity, to allow for a 10-unit townhome development on a vacant 0.33 acre site at 110 and 114 E. Marks Street [GMap].

In the Marks Street Townhomes paperwork, the applicant describes the project as, “modern forms intermingled with warm traditional materials … the Urban Brownstone concept that has been created for this site provides intimacy and scale.”

The buildings would be four stories high, and project plans propose a single entry drive with access to private garages.

The surrounding land use is currently commercial.

This project is currently scheduled for a public hearing at the Municipal Planning Board on September 20, 2016.

  1. Ya think this has anything to do with the City’s hurry to get the Virginia Dr. study and plan in place by December?
