Ha! I lived in the first one, the bottom right there behind the bench in 2004. Never had a rat problem then but I did have 3 peeping toms within one month despite having all those miniblinds closed!! Now there are “no trespassing” signs all down the side of the building! Anyway they only caught 2/3 and after that I moved far away. P.S. I paid $775/month! And yes, the kitchen was awful. But I just didn’t try to cook ever.

Oh gosh. Don’t rent the first one. I knew former tenants. Rats. Poor AC. The oven wouldn’t open all the way because the door hit the fridge. But that’s OK because it rarely worked.
