The new opening date for UCF’s new campus in Downtown Orlando, is August 2019.
According to a report by the Orlando Sentinel, which you can read HERE, UCF’s trustee chairman, Marcos Marchena, delayed the project to avoid starting in the middle of an academic year and to keep the projected cost under its current $60M target.
The original timeline for the construction was twenty four months, but that’s expected to increase to 30 months, with ground breaking in late 2017.
