The Mennello Museum of American Art (Website) is launching their Grounds for Exhibition installation, which will feature a yearlong, large scale sculpture exhibition in their Loch Haven Park campus.

The museum will showcase art by “nationally renowned American artists and from American institutions that bring to Orlando diverse selections of major public art works on a rotating basis.”

The museum has selected two pieces with which to kick off their inaugural series; “Waltzing Matilda” and “Twin Vortexes” by American sculptor, Alice Aycock.

The sculptures are expected to begin installation on September 13, 2016 and will remain on display through September 2017, in the Marilyn L. Mennello Sculpture Garden on the Northeastern shore of Lake Formosa.
