Rocket Holding (Website), a Portuguese company with a new office in Orlando, has just launched the beta testing phase of its new vending machine concept, Pizza Touch.
Pizza Touch (Facebook | Website) is a vending machine that prepares custom pizzas in an average window of two minutes. Customers can choose one of three available flavors, and then pay using the touch screen on the machine. The three flavors currently available include Margherita, Mushroom Pepper, and Four Cheese. Watch the video below to see it in action.
Bay News 9 covered the installation of one of the first machines in Lakeland at a Mobil Gas Station, HERE. There are two more locations currently being tested in the Orlando area but their locations haven’t been disclosed yet. Rocket Holding is planning to install roughly 100 machines in the Orlando area in the next month.
EDIT: One of the Orlando locations is at 7400 Canada Avenue [GMap] in Sand Lake.
I wouldn’t BUT I bet the after hour bar crowd would.
Josh uh oh!! U0001f60d
it has been soaking in diesel fumes all day long for that special unique twist.
Why would anyone use these instead of one of the thousand or so pizza joints this town has.
Crappy pizza out of a machine. No thanks.
This is so back to the future and I love it. My kids will be amazed.
