RENDERING BY HUNTONBRADY ARCHITECTS VIA CITY OF ORLANDO

As first reported by GrowthSpotter, the City Planning Division is reviewing plans to renovate the retail strip at Edgewater Drive and Princeton [GMap].

According to a letter to the City, the construction is being done in conjunction with the upcoming Princeton at College Park project. More on that HERE. The plans include a sleek facade upgrade for the strip that houses CVS Pharmacy and Tijuana Flats, among others.

  1. I love this! Art Deco is a little earlier than the development of CP, but I’ll take it–much nicer than the “placelessness” of the Suntrust building.

  2. There is and it still looks strange to me. I’d rather it look more quaint with all the craftsman houses, small towny as oppose to Miami

  3. Not that strange. There are a number of Art Deco-style buildings on that stretch. Hopefully it could inspire new development to mimic something a bit less boxy.

  4. Why Art Deco though? Why not keep it in line with the style of college park. It’s gonna look strange
