Hattaway is currently employed as the FDOT Secretary of District One, in Bartow, Florida. The starting salary for this new position is $205,000, as outlined in this Fiscal Impact Statement, HERE. The new Transportation Department was scheduled to be in place in October, in order to better manage Orlando’s growing mobility needs. Other targeted issues include increasing pedestrian friendliness, the Complete Streets initiative, and improving the City’s bike trail system.
