The Downtown Development Board has asked that all rental fees to be waved for the 2016-2017 fiscal year for the Orlando Farmers Market (Website).

The market tales place on the International Bridge, the International Plaza, and the Washington Street Cul-de-Sac areas at Lake Eola Park, every Sunday through the year. Red Top Productions is a third-party contractor, that has been running the weekly market for the DDB since 2007.

The contract stipulates that the market must provide visitors with high quality products and services every week between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.

The City’s Families, Parks and Recreation Department petitioned City Council to wave the fees for using the park, estimated to be $118,800.
