The City of Orlando is currently accepting applications for the Mayor’s City Academy, a free 10-week immersive program for citizens to learn about City government.
The Academy program includes tours of City Hall and Community Venues, interactive activities with the police and fire departments, insight into economic development and public work projects, as well as information on Families, Parks and Recreation, housing and transportation initiatives.
The deadline to submit an application is Monday, January 9, 2017 and it begins on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 5:30 p.m., and will be held each Thursday evening through May 11, 2017.
