Food for All (Website) is an organization that is currently raising money via Kickstarter  to launch a new app to reduce food waste. Their model is based on identifying restaurants that have dishes still left over by the end of the day that can be made available for last-minute purchases.

Users would login and find restaurants that have offers nearby. They buy the food at a steep discount and then pick it up. Food for All promises prices that are up to 80 percent cheaper than the listed menu prices.

So it’s earning income for the participating restaurants, diverting food waste from the landfills, and feeding people.
