2015 MEMORIAL PHOTO COURTESY OF IDIGNITY

IDignity (Website) and the Homeless Services Network will be holding a memorial service to honor homeless persons who died this past year.

The annual candlelight service is always held at 10:30 a.m. December 20, which is the day before the Winter Solstice, since it is the longest night of the year, in recognition of men and women who died in the street or in emergency shelters, without being noticed. The memorial is meant to honor them as Orlandoans, and as people.

The service is held at the Trinity Lutheran Church chapel at 123 East Livingston Street [GMap] and the public is welcome to attend.

IDignity provides assistance to locals who need help getting documents for identification purposes.
