The Florida Department of Transportation District Five offices will be hosting a week-long series of public forums for their Five Year Work Program, which is used to forecast the funds needed to pay for upcoming improvements. The budget covers over a billion dollars worth of transportation system improvements that will be occurring in our district.

The annual public hearings are hosted online HERE from December 5-9 and the content will be available 24-hours a day. Topics covered in the hearings include bicycles, freight, seaports, trails, multi-modal transit, aviation, space, and roadways, among others.

Public comment will be accepted up to 10 days after the hearings air online, and should be addressed to:
